Grinding

Grinding is a way of giving a more precise finish on an already machined part, but it is also a process of machining.

A grinding machine or grinder is used for the process of shaping materials by separating particles which achieves high quality of the treated surface (eg low roughness) and high accuracy of shape and dimensions using a rotating grinding tool.
